"Desi" is a Hindi word which means "Indian" in English. Desi Garlic is a 5 month crop (Oct - Feb) grown in northern and western India. Majority garlic is 30mm to 45mm size. Each garlic has approx 10 to 15 garlic cloves. Pungency is strong. Allicin content is higher than Himachal and Ooty garlic.
Himachal Pradesh is a northern state of India. Garlic is grown on the Himalayas at an altitude range of 4000ft to 6000ft. It is a nine month crop (Oct to May). Each garlic has 6 to 10 cloves. Size ranging from 20mm to 60mm. The look and the size is similar to chineese garlic but the pungency/taste is much stronger than Chineese garlic. Allicin content is higher than chineese garlic.
Ooty is a city in southern India. Garlic is grown at an altitude of 5000ft. It is a 4 month crop (May-Aug). Each garlic has 6 to 10 cloves. Size ranging from 20mm to 60mm.. 90% of the crop is purchased by farmers from different part of India for seed purpose becaause of its premium quality.
Garlic bulb is broken into garlic cloves. The garlic clove size and flavor depends completely on the size of the garlic bulb and the garlic origin. This product is mostly used in retail and hotel industry in India.
This is a very famous product in the hotel and restaurant business. It is a time and cost saving proposition for the restaurants. We are the largest peeled garlic manufacturers in Mumbai with a market cap of 40%. We provide peeled garlic on a daily basis to restaurants in and around Mumbai in 1 to 5kg packing.
This product is very famous in the food processing industry especially the pickle industry. Peeled garlic is stored in 100 and 200ltr drum. Shelf life is over a year.

- Opened a 10,000 sqft factory nearby to the APMC,Vashi market in January 2013.
- Our facility has the capacity to produce 8000 kg of peeled garlic daily.
- We have a capacity to stock 8,000 kg of peeled garlic in our cold storage.
- We have a capacity to stock 30,000 kg of whole garlic in our facility.
- We currently sell 5000 kg of peeled garlic daily to wholesalers and traders across Mumbai & Pune region.

In the 1990's we had conducted germplasm on chineese style seed. After seeing good results we wanted farmers to produce garlic in the Kullu Valley region. No farmer was ready to produce garlic. Mr Naginbhai Shah convinced the farmers to grow garlic instead of wheat. His camaraderie with the farmer community helped us make this program successful.Now Kullu valley is known for its garlic produce. We make garlic paste, schezwan chutney, papad , pickles etc. I don't know of any company in India who makes such a huge quantity of peeled garlic.
